Google PageRank Update November - 2011

Google recently updated the PageRank of my blog on 7th November 2011. The last time it updated was on 27th June 2011. The PageRank algorithm of google is run at regular intervals to update the importance of a page in the web world.

To check the page rank of your website or blog, install the google toolbar and hover on the bar beside search (as shown below) to see the importance of your blog or website in google's view.
 
If you don't know what this google pageranks mean for you then following is the general meaning of each rank in simple terms:

Pagerank 0) You are not even listed on Google.
Pagerank 1) Very poor, but at least you are listed.
Pagerank 2) Poor, but you have potential to move up and it can be done.
Pagerank 3) Average. You have good information and most websites fall in this ball park.
Pagerank 4) Above Average. You're moving up from the majority.
Pagerank 5) Good. Page Rank 5 will usually pop up on the first page of some searches.
Pagerank 6) Great. You've worked hard and have great information.
Pagerank 7) You're hot and you're one of the top sites. Your peer is Zillow.
Pagerank 8) You excellent, and your peers are CNBC, EBay, Bing, American Idol.
Pagerank 9) Everyone wants you, you are like: Youtube, Yahoo, Facebook, Apple, Amazon.
Pagerank 10) Finally, the 10s: Google, CNN, usa.gov, and social bookmarking website AddThis.
